In 1996, I moved from Iowa to attend Respiratory Therapy College in Denver, knowing my life’s passion was taking care of people. I enjoyed my 20-year career at a large Northern Colorado hospital, giving compassionate patient care and serving my community by touching lives every day at the bedside. In 2016, my family and I relocated to the mountain communities for peace and quiet, and slower pace of life.
My husband, 3 children, and I love spending time hiking, camping, trying local fare, and visiting every local merchant. I grew up in the city, but in 2005 moved to the Colorado mountains and found I’m much more mountain than city girl (although I still love my frou-frou coffee and pedicures). Nothing makes me happier than hiking with family or friends, especially if it brings me within viewing distance of moose or elk. Heaven! Reading a good book on my deck with hummingbirds flying nearby is a close second.
